Due to the nature of Obi's Spiritual Healing Services, our Refund Policy will not follow the same process as a conventional retail store's refund policy as Obi's services are not the same as physical products.
All refunds will fall into one of the following categories.
1) Refund "before" any sessions/appointments have been booked in Obi's schedule.
a. Provided that NO sessions have been booked in Obi's schedule, a client may submit a refund request within 7 (seven) days of payment.
b. In all cases, a full refund is not possible due to the transaction/processing fees charged by the payment gateway company when a payment is made.
(Stripe is our current payment gateway service provider).
c. The processing fees per transaction are not a set amount. The fees depend on the few factors, including but not limited to... the country you are paying from, the amount paid, type of bank/card used (visa/mastercard/etc), and many other factors.
*Kindly note that every transaction incurs a transaction/processing fee and this amount will be deducted from the total refund amount requested.
d. Clients can request the transaction/processing fee amount charged for their transaction from the Paths of Ascension Support Team prior to proceeding with their refund request.
e. Refunds will be approved based on the amount paid by the client minus the transaction/processing fee charged by the payment gateway company. Stripe will then refund the remaining balance to the client.
2) Refund "after" sessions/appointments have been booked in Obi's schedule, but sessions have not been conducted yet.
a. A 10% (ten percent) cancellation fee of the total amount paid, plus the Payment Gateway's transaction fee will be deducted from the refund amount requested. Appointments booked in Obi's schedule by a client render those dates and times unavailable to other clients, equating to a loss of income for Obi, should those sessions be cancelled and refunds are requested.
This 10% (ten percent) cancellation fee is to compensate Obi for the loss of income, as Obi has a long waiting list, making his time very valuable.
* Kindly note that failure to attend an appointment/session will be deemed as a "no-show," and the client will automatically forfeit the appointment/session. 7 (seven) days advance notice or more is required should a client wish to reschedule their appointment, this will give fair time to try and fill that appointment date and time with another client. Forfeited sessions will NOT be refunded.
3) Refund after sessions/appointments have commenced and/or services have been rendered.
a. Under NO circumstances will refunds be granted for any session/s that have already been conducted.
b. A 10% cancellation penalty will be charged to the clients for sessions remaining should a refund be approved for cases like death, or reasons that make it impossible for the client to continue with their sessions.
c. In cases where a package has been booked, and some of the sessions have been completed, refunds will only be approved in cases where Obi cannot honour the remaining appointments and he is responsible for the cancellation of the sessions/appointments.
If Obi is unable to honour the sessions, due to circumstances beyond his control, only then will a refund be granted for the remaining portion of the session/s owed to the client.
d. Should services such as Luminous Energy Field (LEF) Scans be paid for and booked by a client, NO refunds will be given on such services. Refunds will only be granted where Obi cannot honour the obligation to do the scan.
e. In cases where a package has been paid for, and Obi has offered discounts on the total amount as a package deal, if a partial refund is requested on a package whereby some of the sessions have already been conducted, the unused sessions will have to be removed from the package to be refunded individually.
This will nullify the package discounts, as the sessions no longer fall within a package deal.
A partial refund can be issued for unused sessions; however, sessions that have already been conducted will be charged at the individual session prices, which will unfortunately not include discounts, as the discounts are only applicable to packages and not individual sessions.
Refunds will be calculated pro rata based on the Full, non-discounted amount for individual sessions. After the full single-session prices have been deducted for sessions already conducted and all cancellation and transaction fees have been deducted, the remaining portion of the funds paid can be refunded.
* Kindly note that careful consideration must be made before requesting a refund. Obi sometimes offers huge discounts to different clients, which makes his sessions affordable for those who cannot afford to pay the full price. These discounts are offered at Obi's sole discretion. Requesting a refund can make the sessions far more expensive because the refund is based on the full price, not the discounted amount.
4) Payment Plan Refunds.
All Payment Plan refund requests will incur a 10% cancellation fee, irrespective of whether sessions would have been booked.
* All refunds can take up to 30 (thirty) days to finalise, as this process is handled by the payment gateway company (Stripe) and not personally by Obi.
* For all payments that originate from a different currency to the British Pound (GBP £). Kindly note that the refund amount rarely matches the exchange rate used when the client initially paid the amount. The amount that gets paid back to any client depends on the foreign exchange rate on the date and time the refund is finalised.
Should one's local currency weaken against the British Pound (GBP £), kindly make provision to receive less than expected. However, should one's local currency strengthen against the British Pound £, one can make provision to receive more than expected.
Please note that this amount is not subject to anyone's control; it is determined by global currency trading and forex exchange rates. Please do not contact Obi to ask why the amount is less than what was initially paid. This question should be reserved for your bank, and they should be able explain to you how currency transactions work.
5) Payment for Courses or Programs.
Under no circumstances will any refunds be approved for any courses or programs.
So you have to be 100% sure you want to do the course with the clear understanding that it will take a commitment on your part to complete the course or program. Please note that NO exceptions will be made for any refund requests for courses or programs.
Should you opt for a payment plan on any of the courses or programs, and should you opt to discontinue your membership in the course or program at any point after your enrolment has been activated, you will still be held liable to complete the payments outstanding until the full payment has been received for the complete cost of the course or program.
